Alberta's economy outgrew every other Canadian province in 2017 (+4.6%), as it recovered from a two-year-long recession in 2015 and 2016. Growth is expected was slow to 1.9 percent in 2018, which would still be the second-highest in Western Canada. Alberta's economy has grown more diverse in response to low oil prices but remains dependent on the energy sector for capital investment.

The Global Alliance Canada Org is working to enhance and strengthen the economy of Western Canada; by supporting the development and diversification of the western Canadian economy and activities where economic and employment benefits accrue primarily within Western Canada.

OIL AND GAS WASTE MANAGEMENT
Most of our efforts pertaining to this program involve studying new approaches and developing innovative ways to implement them. We evaluate our success in this field by gathering qualitative and quantitative data, and using that information to measure shifts and changes from our baseline measurements. The plan embraces bold and innovative thinking, organizational and sector disruption.
